How to format pendrive with CMD


Guys many times we face that "windows was unable to format the removable disk" or some other cases this might be due to the some virus had affected your pendrive so in order to deal with such types of problem you can format your pendrive with cmd 


NOTE:

  1. Follow the all steps carefully
  2. Select The correct Drive 
  3. Format the correct drive 
  4. Your Whole Data Will be lost :P
  5. It consumes more time than the windows take 
  6. Type the commands in cmd without Inverted commas (" ")
STEPS :

  • Insert the pendrive and note the number of your disk in my case its "I"
  • Now from your keyboard open run (Windows + R) and type cmd and hit Enter

  • A Command Prompt will be opened 


  • Type "Format I:" (type only the highlighted text and replace I with your drive letter )

  • Now Hit ENTER twice

  • If you see "Would you like to force a dismount in this volume? <Y/N>" Then type "y" and hit Enter and it will start formatting your disk



  • After completon of the formatting hit enter and your pendrive has been fully formatted Using CMD
